This Privacy Policy describes how RapidScal ("RapidScal," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website at rapidscal.com and our campaign management platform (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Who we are

RapidScal is a software-as-a-service platform that helps media buyers and affiliate marketing teams manage, analyze, and optimize advertising campaigns across third-party advertising platforms, including Meta, TikTok, NewsBreak, Google, Snapchat, Taboola, and Outbrain (each an "Ad Platform").

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide to us

Account information: name, email address, company name, and password when you create a RapidScal account.
Billing information: payment details processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Communications: information you provide when you contact support, request a demo, or otherwise communicate with us.

2.2 Information from connected Ad Platforms

When you connect an ad account to RapidScal, you authorize us through the Ad Platform's official authorization flow (such as OAuth) to access certain data via that platform's marketing API. Depending on the platform and the permissions you grant, this may include:

Ad account identifiers, names, and settings;
Campaign, ad set/ad group, and ad configurations (budgets, targeting settings, schedules, statuses);
Creative assets and metadata (images, videos, headlines, ad copy);
Aggregate performance metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, and similar statistics);
Basic profile information associated with the connecting user (such as name and profile identifier) as provided by the platform's authentication flow.

We do not collect or store Ad Platform passwords. Authorization is handled entirely by the Ad Platform, and you may revoke RapidScal's access at any time from your Ad Platform's security settings or from within RapidScal.

Our use of information received from each Ad Platform's API complies with that platform's applicable developer and platform terms, including Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies and the TikTok for Business developer terms. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

2.3 Information from other integrations

If you connect an affiliate tracker, ad network, or CRM to RapidScal, we collect the campaign, conversion, and revenue data you authorize those services to share with us, solely to provide reporting and optimization features.

2.4 Information collected automatically

Usage data: pages viewed, features used, actions taken in the Service, and timestamps.
Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs.
Cookies and similar technologies: as described in our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including displaying your campaign data, executing the automated rules you configure, and creating or modifying campaigns at your direction;
Calculate cross-platform reporting, analytics, and profitability metrics for your accounts;
Authenticate you and secure your account;
Process payments and manage subscriptions;
Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service;
Monitor, debug, and improve the Service, including aggregate, de-identified analytics;
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information or your Ad Platform data. We do not use data obtained from Ad Platform APIs for advertising, for building or augmenting user profiles, or for any purpose other than providing and improving the Service features you use.

4. How we share information

We share information only in the following circumstances:

At your direction: with Ad Platforms and integrated services when you launch, edit, or sync campaigns; and with teammates you invite to your workspace.
Service providers: with vendors who help us operate the Service (cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, error monitoring), bound by contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Legal requirements: when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of RapidScal, our users, or the public.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy's protections.

5. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active.
Ad Platform data is retained while the relevant account connection is active. When you disconnect an ad account, we stop syncing new data and delete the associated platform data within 30 days.
When you delete your RapidScal account, we delete your personal data and connected platform data within 30 days, except for limited records we must retain for legal, billing, or security purposes.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and secured cloud infrastructure. API tokens for connected platforms are stored encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate personal data;
Delete your personal data;
Export your personal data in a portable format;
Object to or restrict certain processing;
Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@rapidscal.com. We respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (including the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA where applicable). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for cross-border transfers of personal data.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Service connects to third-party Ad Platforms and integrations that have their own privacy policies. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we encourage you to review their policies:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as email or an in-app notification.
